Pomegranate Molasses

Pomegranate Molasses, absolutely delicious drizzled over desserts, in salad dressings, used in tagines and meat dishes as well as in drinks to name a few dishes that it adds amazing flavour to. Absolutely delicious over cream cheese dips.

Pomegranate Molasses

Rubies from 4 pomegranates

1/2 cup sugar

Juice of 1 lemon

Liquidise the rubies.

Strain in to a pot.

Add the sugar and lemon juice and boil till thickened.

Add sugar or lemon to taste- you want it to have a slightly sweet taste with the tartness coming through.

Be careful not to over boil or it will become too thick.

You want it to just be able to coat a spoon.
