Decadent, rich, sumptuous. This hot chocolate with a difference hits every spot and more. Delicious while hot, silky smooth and dessert like while chilled ( if it lasts long enough to chill ) this drink is a winner in more ways than one.
1 tsp corn flour
1 1/2 tsp butter
1 cup milk
1 tsp sugar
40 g good quality dark chocolate- 50% – 70%
Heat the butter in a saucepan, add the corn flour and stir to combine.
Add the milk and sugar, heat while stirring till it simmers.
Drop in the chocolate, continue stirring till it thickens and is smooth and well combined.
Pour into a mug.
If you’re in need of some decadence, top with a dollop of whipped cream.
