Condensed Milk Cheesecake Tart

This evening a dear sister in law ( one of my many dear sister in laws 😉 invited us for Iftar. As usual she went all out in spoiling us with yummy savouries, ranging from jalapeño samoosas, chicken filled scones and tortillas, to a delicious main of homemade Kentucy chicken served with a most delicious sauce and a side of mash. Well, where there’s food there’s always dessert! And tonight was no exception! Dessert tonight was a yummy chocolate and lady finger combo by another dear sister in law, as well as a tart which I tried due to its simplicity and very minimal ingredient list.

All you need is:

1 pack of Tennis Biscuits- crushed
100g butter- melted

Combine the two and place into a Pyrex dish. Press down till it resembles a biscuit base and refrigerate.

In a dish, combine the following:

1 tin condensed milk
2 cups of plain, full fat yoghurt

Once combined, remove the base from the fridge and spread the filling on top. Place into the microwave for 4 minutes on high. Remove from the microwave and refrigerate till chilled and set. Decorate with grated chocolate ( optional ) and fruits of your choice.
Next time, I’m going to substitute caramel treat for the condensed milk and top it with caramelised pecans, I’m sure that’s going to be a decadent winner.

Quick, easy, tasty. The bees knees for when you need a dessert in a hurry.
